GCSE & BTEC Results 2026

Congratulations to all of our Year 11 students for the outstanding success which they achieved in this year's GCSE and and BTEC results, following on from the school's strong A Level results announced last week.

This year's GCSE cohort achieved an impressive set of outcomes, with more than a third of all grades awarded at the top 9-7 level. In the key measures of English and Maths, 80% of students secured grades 4-9, while 64% achieved the higher 5-9 "strong pass" benchmark, both comfortably above national averages. An exceptional 10% of all grades awarded were the top grade 9.

These results reflect the hard work, resilience and commitment shown by students throughout their time at The Howard, with the year group rising to every challenge and achieving success across a wide range of subjects. Well done to all!
