Free School Meals
Winter Food Vouchers
The government has announced a new winter support scheme, designed to directly help families and individuals who have been hardest hit by the pandemic. The majority of the funding is set aside to ensure children are fed over winter.
The grant has been provided to Surrey County Council to distribute to families who need it most. Surrey County Council, in discussion with schools and partners, has agreed to use the funding to provide all families with children eligible for benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM) with supermarket vouchers over the Christmas holiday period. If you are eligible for this support, you will have received a letter and will receive your vouchers via email by Wednesday 16 December.
