Mental Health & Wellbeing
At The Howard we recognise the importance of Mental Health and we have a strong team working with our students around their Mental Health and Wellbeing. Within our team, we have 24 staff members and 12 Sixth Formers trained as Level 3 Mental Health First Aiders. We have 2 Wellbeing Reps per form who receive training on how to promote positive Wellbeing and Mental Health, and they meet with the Year Teams half termly to promote ideas from their peers on how we can improve our school community. We work with outside agencies to develop further resources that we can promote within our school community such as Teen Tips Wellbeing Hub which has been gifted to us by St Teresa's - this resource is available for parents, students and staff. We are passionate about training, developing ideas and promoting new initiatives within our community.
