Academic Resilience

We want all our young people to thrive personally as well as academically, overcome challenges and make a positive contribution to society.  Our Academic Resilience Framework helps to build the skills students need to thrive in a modern society.

‘Academic resilience’ means students achieving good educational outcomes despite adversity.

Positive mental health is the emotional resilience which enables us to enjoy life and to cope with everyday pressures. It is a state of well-being which allows us to recognise and believe in our own abilities and self-worth.
